If inflamed for three months, please take your scratch to be seen by a physician. Skin lesions are best seen in person.

Sounds like a Foreign Body reaction due to some solid element like thorn, pin, nail or dirt embedding into the skin from the biking accident. That Foreign Body must be removed before the "inflamed scratch" can resolve. A visit to PCP/Dermatologist indicated.
