A member asked:

I got a tb shot a year ago and all of a sudden it flared up and it's very red and inflamed. doesn't hurt you or itch, but i have a history of tb in my family and i have been abroad so i'm wondering if i need to be concerned. thank you!

Yes: The positive test means you have been exposed to tuberculosis. You should get an evalaution and decide if you need therapy. Ask your physician to refer you to an infectious disease physician to help decide your therapy.
