16 beats of SVT would be considered a short run. SVT isn't usually life threatening. If you have repeated bursts or frequent symptomatic PAC's your cardiologist may consider treating you with beta blockers. Thyroid OK? EKG and echocardiogram normal? Take any stimulants? Avoid alcohol and excess caffeine. Avoid stress and get good sleep.
