Check with Orthopedist or Physical Therapist. A lot depends on your muscle mass and overall activity BEFORE you sustained the hip fracture as well as what underlying conditions you have. Usually in the range of 3-4 months but that’s very variable depending on the above.

It depends on the type hip fracture you had and the type of fixation with the rod. It usually takes 8-12 weeks gor the fracture to heal if you are a mon nicotine user. Longer if you use any nicotine products. You also need to have adequate vitamin D levels. Your orthopedist can better answer the question but with therapy and no other medical problems 3 - 6 months depending on your age.
