I am been diagnosed with gerd. is it normal to hear occasional crackling noise when you inhale?i don't hear it all the time but i do hear it every now and then when i try to take a deep breath? i have a mild back pain too. is it something serious?

GERD may be leaking acid that ends up in your lungs causing crackling noise. Elevate the head of you bed legs on 8 inch blocks. Gravity never sleeps and plans a role in GERD.
