Have anxiety disorder & dyspepsia, gerd. i threw up 1 time this morning because of my anxiety. it was basically bile with a streak (like a piece of thread) of the true color purple. consirned what it could have been. had not drank or are anything?

Bile is usually vomited when the stomach is empty. If you ate or drank anything with purplish color or took any medications with purplish dye, it could explain the purple streak. If you didn't it may be been a tiny amount of venous blood. Significant bleeding from the stomach or duodenum usually results in passage of black,tarry stools later.
