What would be the reasons a bumpy, round, discoloured in the middle bruise would appear on the shin other than trauma?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests.Tick bite is one possibility. A bleeding disorder is another. A reaction to an insect bite could produce such an appearance. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!
