A member asked:

Why would my doctor tell me to take nexium twice a day when after reading your response to taking nexium you state to be sure it is taken no more than once a day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nexium is taken for inhibition of gastric acid production, and is "usually" taken once per day. Under a physician's supervision and/or direction, twice a day is occasionally prescribed.
