How would someone develop growth of klebsiella aerogenes in thier sinuses (confirmed by bacterial culture of sinus cavity)?

It would most probably take a chronic paranasal sinus infection for.klebsiella to be a cause of the sinus infection. It would be unusual as a cause of acute sinusitis. This is an important distinction as treatment for klebsiella requires broader spectrum antibiotics and surgical drainage of the sinus is often needed.
