Please have liver function testing, total bilirubin and direct bilirubin measurements after discussion with your PCP. Itching may be related to bile salts and liver inflammation. In addition, if have allergic responses, avoid allergens and discuss an over the counter antihistamine. Avoid alcohol completely and check with local resources to help you quit.
