Asthma is a reactive airway disease and can be exacerbated by various triggers in different persons. Any infection in respiratory tract is a well known cause of asthma. Whether infection can be suppressed by immune system of a person will give rise to symptomatic or asymptomativ state. It is unusual but can occur. Hope it helps.,

The potential for exacerbation of Asthma after any respiratory infection is always there. Covid-19 infection is predominately a respiratory infection. It can also have a post infection effect in the same category as Post Viral Syndrome so, it can exacerbate Asthma. Good idea to be Hydrated, Stay away from Cold Foods/Drinks and observer One's usual precautions. Plus treat any Asthma attack promptly
