I had a colonoscopy this past monday. the results were completely normal, nothing found & no removals of any sort. since the colonoscopy ive had mucus in my stool - which is a brand new symptom for me. any ideas why the new mucus?

Can’t be sure but probable bowel irritation from the prep that you took before the colonoscopy. If it persists >1-2 weeks, return to Gastroenterologist. RARE cases of infection reported after colonoscopy
