It is a surprise that Lovenox can be used although she has Heparin induced platelet antibody (HIPA) because there is cross reaction between Lovenox and Heparin. May be the other anticoagulants (or blood thinners) are not available in your are Although she currently has minimal symptoms she has to be on Lovenox for at least three months and no new clot detected in the meantime.

Heparin should not be used in the patients with postvaccine blood clots in the veins draining the brain and I wonder if this is what your mother had or had blood clots elsewhere.. I'm not sure whether lovenox is an acceptable anticoagulant instead and would have to consult a hematologist about that. Could her twitches be related to brain involvement in her battle with Covid? ?see neurologist.
