Balance problems. suddenly much worse. cta showed "left intracranial vertebral artery is occluded beyond the origin of the inferior cerebellar artery." usual vestibular problems not clearly evident. an mri four days after ct showed no stroke. ??

Trust you have a neurologist following you. Although you may possess vertebrobasilar compromise of blood flow, which could explain imbalance, you need to exclude other causes, such as B-12, thyroid, giant cell arteritis, HIV, syphilis, lupus, Meniere's, medication reactions, etc. Vestibular physical therapy may help.
