Go to the emergency room and have the piece of the needle removed Infection is more than likely to occur.

Unfortunately a magnet will not remove the needle. An X-ray can show the position and size of the needle as well as whether any vital structures are at risk. Not every needle that is imbedded becomes and issue and needs to be removed. If the area becomes red, inflamed or more sore get it looked at.
