I'm soon to be working with a child with hep b and my vaccines don't seem to match the normal schedule i am curious if i had a shot between 5-6 months old then 1 year and 8 months old and then the last one a day after 2 years old if i am protected?

You are protected! In case you are at higher exposure risk to body fluids especially to blood, however, you might want to be sure of immunity against hepatitis B. Your PCP can run a blood test to prove your status.
