A member asked:

Ive had three hsv igg clia blood tests done (4, 6, & 7 months post exposure). hsv 2 is negative but hsv 1 is inconclusive. what do three equivocal hsv 1 (.90) results mean? should i consider this negative or positive? two years ago, it was negative?

Even if you have HSV 1, also called oral herpes, it is not a serious matter. Majority of the adult have had HSV 1. Other than cold sores, HSV 1 infection is inconsequential, except in rare instances of immune deficiency. Get HPV and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
