What does it mean to have immunoglobulin e, total @ 63 iu/ml? i have been getting allergy shots for years. when the skin test pricks are performed, i am usually allergic to 95% and require shots. i feel that the shots arent working?

If you have improvement in your symptoms, then you have had a response. The elevation in the IgE is reflective of your allergic antibody response. Discuss other options with an allergist.
