If you are not on low dose oral contraceptives, fibrocystic disease can cause pain in one or both breasts secondary to cyst formation. See your gyn provider for an exam and other testing (breast ultrasound, mammogram if U/S negative) and ask about oral bcp's to reduce occurrence of fibrocystic symptoms.
