Musculoskeletal...: The symptoms you describe are likely musculoskeletal pain from the cough. The chest wall has muscles, cartilage and bone and any of these can be injured when coughing. For example, there can be muscle strain or sprain, cartilage inflammation, rib bruise or even fracture. The good news is that it will all heal once you stop coughing, which it appears you have. The pain should be gradually improving.
