Is there any way you can have sedation with an impedance and manometry test? i understand that we receive numbing spray but the idea of having a tube in my throat terrifies me. especially as i gag everytime i swallow?

In general the spraying will numb the gag reflex and many give a short anesthetic if needed as well. Should be no problem. Discuss your concern with your team.
