I was drinking water and suddenly heard and felt a "pop" in my throat. i now have pain in my throat and it hurts when i swallow. it feels like something is stuck in my throat. any ideas??

Something minor: There is nothing serious that you can do by drinking water. What you are feeling is something coincidental. it may be sore throat from a virus in which case it will go away itself in a matter of 3-5 days. Just ignore it and quit worrying. Nothing serious can happen to a young many like you!
