A member asked:

My nose has been stuffy since my childhood, very rarely i've been able to breathe clearly, this happens even when i don't have a cold, even in summer. now i have covid too so i was wondering that, can this contribute to suffocating?

Your bodies defensive mechanism opens your mouth. I would not worry about dying in your sleep. Your body will wake you if your oxygen level drops, but most often just opens your mouth to avoid the problem. Don't ware anti-snore straps that keep the mouth closed in sleep. Get evaluated, it could be fixable.
