I recently got my covid shot (moderna) and the injection site feels like there is a knot, slightly burning, swollen, and very sore. i am asumming this is normal? how long does this usually last?

It should get better in a day or so. You may take acetaminophen, for the pain, no more than 4 g/day, no alcohol. Wish you good health!

A localized reaction may occur and usually resolves within 48 hours. If you experience moderate to severe pain, fever, difficulty breathing, please notify your PCP. A cool compress to the area may be helpful.
