Large studies have documented its safety. My own experience is observational: The majority of our patients who have been vaccinated by two Pfizer vaccinations report mild to moderate soreness at the vaccine site, some with mild headache and some with a low grade fever. Most report a somewhat increase of these symptoms after the 2nd vaccination. Symptoms persist for 24-48 hrs after vaccination.

The Pfizer vaccine is safe; both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have been proven in millions of people. The rare problem of blood clots was seen in about 6-7 out of a million people with the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. A young woman should consider whether one of the other two vaccines is more appropriate although the risk is extremely low
