Aloha : Aloha. Question is about toe nail discoloration and leg swelling in hawaiians. Likely unrelated. Toenail discoloration is commonly due to a fungal infection. The swelling in the leg may be serious, but hopefully benign. Heart disease is suspect. Obesity is an epidemic in hawaii; along with their high salt intake (e.g. Spam), dependent edema is commonly seen in isalnders. See the doctor soon pls.
