Can i drink alcohol 7 or more days after a tooth extraction?i heard that alcohol could disrupt the blood clotting process?

Yes: Drinking of alcohol has a small effect on your blood clotting ability. Alcohol and pain medication(narcotics) should not be taken at the same time. Alcohol may influence any pre-medication or sedation given before and during the surgery. Therefore, it is best to wait for a few days and till after you are off any pain meds.

Yes and no: The clotting "process" stabilizes a wound during the initial healing period. Having a drink will not affect the clotting at 7 days. Alcohol can interfere/interact with pain control and some antibiotics. Don't over-indulge and check with your doc or pharmacist about medication interactions.
