I am on accutane and got the cartilage of my ear pierced today. i was unaware this was unwise given the increased potential for scarring. what should i do? should i take the stud out, or now that it is in, focus on keeping it clean?

If it is going to scar, it will scar whether you take the stud out or leave it in. Whether or not you keep it is up to you but, either way, you need to keep it clean so the site doesn’t get infected. If you see signs of infection-red, warm, swollen, more pain, pus, etc. -then you need to see a doctor right away. Good luck!!
