The only STI that could possibly do this is syphilis. The rash of secondary syphilis usually doesn't itch or last this long, but the fact that you ask about STI suggests you may be at risk, so best to be tested; better safe than sorry. Beyond that, it's impossible to guess the cause. See a doctor, preferably a dermatologist. Good luck.
