Probably low risk: Hepatitis C virus has been oversold as an STI. The only proved sex known to risk HCV transmission is potentially traumatic rectal sex practices among men. In women and straight men, the frequency of HCV in the partners of infected persons is not elevated. One research calculation for vaginal sex, estimated that if one partner has HCV, transmission chance is once per 190,000 events.
