Skipping rope: Skipping rope, or any form of exercise, especially cardiovascular exercise, will help you lose fat. It won't target your belly fat specifically however. Even when people lose a lot of weight, it doesn't always occur uniformly across the body. Sometimes there are areas of the body where fat disappears quickly, and other areas where it persists. Abdominal exercises will help with the belly fat too.

There's no such: Thing as natural spot fat loss. You need to lose weight in general & a certain % will be abdominal fat. Eat healthfully & be physically active. Calories burned must > calories consumed. To tighten ab's do crunches, reverse crunches, exercise ball crunches, pelvic thrusts, lying leg raises, side bridge & “bicycling” exercise on your back. Engage in regular aerobic exercise.
