If really "overweight"- meaning BMI of over 25, then a balanced diet is important. eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, and getting adequate protein. Eating a variety of foods and avoiding restrictive eating is important. There are a number of excellent diets out, and nutritional counseling may be helpful.

If your BMI is still over 25 in spite of suffering from anorexia for years best would be to get rid of excess weight by exercise and keeping a balanced diet with proper hydration and sleep providing no other comorbidities, such as diabetes.
