A member asked:

If a small amount of high risk hpv viruses enter our body, will they be completely eliminated by immunization without being dormant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Available HPV immunizations help the body develop antibodies against as many as 7 high risk HPV strains. No infection = no dormancy. Once these develop the body can stop these strains from infecting the body. Immunizations given after someone is infected will not stop the infectious process.
