My midsection and lower body has been convulsing uncontrollably on occasion for a couple of minutes at a time for over a year. i am conscious throughout, unable to communicate, am seeing bright lights, have migraines. am i having seizures?

Not feasible to accurately address your question without a full evaluation. But you may indeed have epilepsy, and this needs to be confirmed or excluded. Migraine may explain some of this but not all. Find an experienced and respected neurologist who can guide you through an evaluation and directed therapy. If you have seizures, avoid driving, activities at heights, use of power equipment.
