Vaginal burning doesn't respond to anti fungal and antibiotic treatment. been suffering from january this year. lab results say it's both fungal and bacterial. doc prescribed augmentin antibiotic. doesn't seem to be working. i'm so desperate?

Augmentin alone may exacerbate the fungal vaginitis which is more common. Treat the fungal infection first with the appropriate antifungal medication based on culture result. There are abundant of bacteria colonized in the vagina so we need to know what the culture result. Do you have any underlying medical problem such as diabetes mellitus or taking immunosuppressive meds?
