About 10% of vaginal yeast infections are caused by yeasts resistant to the "azole" drugs (miconazole, clotrimazole, fluconazole, etc), the active ingredient in most yeast treatments. Discuss alternate treatments with your doctor such as nystatin, micafungin, caspofungin, and others. Good luck.
