Is there any way i can test to see whether the pain in my foot is either a stress fracture or foot sprain?

X ray.: Xrays are often able to identify fracture especially if the fracture is older.

X-Ray is needed: Stress fracture and sprains can feel the same, so an x-ray is in order to rule one out. Treatment options would also be quite different depending on the diagnosis.
