Permacath redness: Have your nephrologist (n) or dialysis nurse look at it. You may have a cellulitis in the permacath's (p) insertion site. You may need antibiotics to treat it. You should also ask your n to refer you to a vascular surgeon for an av fistula creation so you can be free of your p and have a much lower risk of such infections and feel better.
