A member asked:

After a vasectomy, if you form a sperm granuloma, why wouldn't surgery be required to stop the leaking of sperm into the scrotum? it seems that anti-inflammatory drugs are recommended. doesn't the leak require repair or does the leak eventually stop?

Sperm granulomas are usually small and resolve with time. sometimes a small hard area results which if asymptomatic needs no treatment. Anti inflammatory drugs are of limited use in this as it is a small leak of sperms and not inflammation. Yes the leak stops by itself and needs no treatment. You should be fine . But if you have pain, or it does not get smaller over a few months see your Urolog
