The "gastric sleeve" may slip, or persistent increase in food volume may override the intended effect of the sleeve procedure, and weight gain will increase according to dietary intake quality. Consult the physician who performed the procedure, who may order a gastric swallow to assess stomach volume and the state of the performed sleeve procedure.
