A member asked:

Last week i did a std panel test for an unprotected vaginal sexual exposure 7 months all were negative except for hepatitis a which was reactive, my hep b & hep c was nonreactive however my hep c lab showed a 0.3 nonreactive, what does this 0.3 mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A hepatitis C test showing "non-reactive" with a "0.3" may indicate recent exposure and viral presence without antibody production. Check with your physician, who may order a repeat test to clarify a result of ".3 non-reactive".
