Unless you are allergic to an artificial sweetener, it should be OK on occasion. The history of sweetener use is littered with concerns of cancer and toxicity from saccharin through aspartame through acesulfame and sucralose. To say nothing of the evils of high fructose corn syrup. And the cavity generating propensities of table sugar. All things in moderation.
