Aspartame is an FDA approved "poison", and would strongly urge complete avoidance. It has been associated with migraine headache exacerbation, likely metabolic syndrome, and weight gain. Would not be surprised if some people might experience hematological issues, but there is really no firm cause/ effect. Best to stop it period, and have followup blood studies.
