Please get an exam and a blood screen for heavy metals. Lead toxicity has been known to form a discoloration in the gums, and may show up in other body parts. Call your local doctor for appointment. Good luck

If the lines are horizontal, then something happened at that particular time to disrupt circulation to the nail. There are many causes for this type of line. I agree with other doctor blood work and exam is needed
