So... my dentist prescribed amoxicillin again for the 3rd time in a row for tooth infection, my question is... is it safe to be taking amoxicillin for more than a month? is it gonna make any difference or take the pain away? i have extraction on 29th?

Antibiotics are not pain relievers, but as the pressure from the infection abates, so should the pain. You must have a very serious infection to have a 3rd prescription. Are you taking any NSAIDs for the pain?
