A week ago i woke up to a an icy cooling sensation inside my head, like cold air blowing inside it. its been constant since and worse when i wake up. its very uncomfortable and at this point painful?

Two possibilities come to mind with these somewhat vague symptoms. One is a paranasal sinusitis and the other is a manifestation of anxiety or tension. If symptoms persist, testing would be a CT scan of the paranasal sinuses and a consultation with a neurologist if no sinus pathology is found. Stress management therapy is helpful in relieving anxiety and tension if it's the problem.
