There are many things that might cause an absent ulnar pulse. First, if you have no other symptoms like pain, numbness, weakness or cold intolerance there is nothing to worry about if you can't feel the ulnar pulse as blood supply to the hand from the radial artery alone is usually more than adequate. The artery could be absent or poorly developed and injury or surgery could cause it to close.
