If both of you have myopia, it is likely that your child/children will also have the same. Vision may not be as bad, but can’t tell that yet. Watch for squinting as the child gets older. Most myopia shows up around school age or later. Your child’s pediatrician will also screen for vision problems as he/she gets older.
