A member asked:

Is there anything a person with copd can do at home to breath better ? besides regular checkups and meds thank you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

“Meds” are the basis for most medical treatments. Many for COPD, need to consult with Pulmonologist. Other things that will help - avoid smoking or smoke filled environments, keep house and workplace as dust free as possible, may (now or in future) need home oxygen, check for possible reflux. Your Pulmonary doc should be emphasizing these things
