A member asked:

Low vitamin d levels can cause erection problem? my vitamin d levels are 10.5 and i have low iron 66. high ldl levels 179 but total cholesterol is 238. so low vitamin d low iron in blood and high ldl levels in cholesterol can cause weak erections?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your doctor needs to help you restore appropriate levels. The cholesterol and especially LDL are future risks for cardiac disease, and possibly stroke. The vitamin D needs to be boosted to the 50-70 ng/ ml range, and there is a need to uncover whether blood loss is causing low iron. Get proactive and address all of this. ED can later be handled by a urologist.
